Nitinat Resort, Vancouver Island | Oberti Resort Design

Nitinat Resort, Vancouver Island

Master plan for the Ditidaht First Nations for a proposed lakefront resort on Nitinat Lake on Vancouver Island. Nitinat Lake is a well-known windsurfer’s mecca and is in close proximity to the West Coast Trail. The concept is of a resort that ushers a future of discerning tourism and interpretive activities in a beautiful location. The design is influenced by Ditidaht culture and the natural environment and includes a longhouse-inspired main lodge surrounded by mini-longhouse cottages.
