Twin Peaks Resort, Whistler BC | Oberti Resort Design

Twin Peaks Resort, Whistler BC

The first Development Permit for the new North expansion of Whistler Village. Twin Peaks Resort is a three storey complex on Northlands Boulevard. The plan integrates 28 spacious residential units into a community area of linked structures sharing recreational amenities. Comprehensive planning, landscaping and architectural design have been formulated to give the development an alpine character. The design concept emphasizes the integration of the development with a mountain village setting. All units feature large open views of the mountains. Floor plans maximize usable spaces and remain simple and clean lined. Covered balconies allow for occupants to enjoy views and outdoor living through summer months while remaining protected from snow cover in winter months. Along the upper levels, large dormer windows under peaked roofs create cozy cabin-like spaces and feature stunning views . The style of the complex, with its rugged base of granite and exterior finish in cedar and peaked shingle roof, blends harmoniously into the mountain setting, and works well with the architecture of the surrounding areas.
